Purpose of the Award
This award acknowledges alumni who have selflessly contributed their time, skills, and resources to improve
lives, advocate for causes, or lead service-driven initiatives locally, nationally, or globally.
Who is Eligible?
Any alumnus/alumna of Haldia Institute of Technology who has:
Led or significantly contributed to impactful service or humanitarian efforts
Created long-lasting positive change in underprivileged communities
Shown consistent dedication to the betterment of society
Nomination Process
Log in to the Alumni Dashboard – Access your profile via the alumni portal
Go to the "Nominations" Section – Choose the Distinguished Service Award category
Fill in Nominee Information – Include relevant background and service history
Attach Supporting Documents – Such as:
Project reports or descriptions
Media coverage or articles
Recommendation letters
Photographs or testimonials from beneficiaries
Selection Criteria
Depth and scope of service work
